Education : Bachelors Degree
Experience : 5 - 10 Years
Responsibilities :
1. Five to Ten years or more of progressive Estimating experience on major infrastructure projects
2. An industry relevant degree is preferred but equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
3. Ability to identify and manage staff resources to complete deliverables.
4. Knowledge of local construction market in area of operation including first principals estimating
5. You must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities. You must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Knowledge of typical estimating program functionality and related WBS is preferred.
7. Requires ability to prepare conceptual cost model estimates from limited information using local historic cost information.
8. Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Description : WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE ESTIMATOR:
1. A minimum of 5-10 year experience as a Cost Consultant or Estimator.
2. Proven capability working on major Infrastructure projects.
3. Previous experience of leading and managing project teams of QS's, cost consultants, estimators and planners on infrastructure projects.
4. Consultancy and Contractor experience.
5. Ability to work on own initiative and possess the drive to lead and manage projects.
6. Leadership experience.
7. Relevant degree preferably in civil engineering.
8. The ability to develop and build sustained client relationships.
9. Ownership and accountability for service delivery; meeting deadlines and managing time.
